Our May meeting was at Chapter V restaurant in Moy on Thursday 17th, we had a four course meal and the opportunity to sample 8 different wines.

Memoirs writing/ Reminiscences are taking a break for the summer. They will resume on the fourth Wednesday in the month in the Autumn at 2.30 pm in the Irish and Local Studies Library.
The Local history group are taking a break for the summer. They will resume meetings in the Autumn at 2:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday in the month in the Irish and Local Studies Library in the old Armagh City Hospital Building.

East Antrim U3A have organised a summer school and have sent the following details….
Our Summer School workshops are being run in Carrickfergus by East Antrim U3A on the east Antrim coast (not a regional event). We’d be delighted to welcome some of our fellow NI U3A Colleagues if anyone wishes to attend any of our planned events in July & August. We have negotiated prices with local hotels for those who’d wish to stay over and explore our lovely coastline.

The Italian Language group meet on Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and run to 12:00 p.m. in the U3A Office. The convenor is Pat Kelly.
The speaker at this month’s general meeting is from S.D. Bells and Co., Ireland’s oldest tea importers and coffee roasters.
Also you are reminded that if you have not already paid your membership it is well overdue this month.
The general meeting is normally held on the third Wednesday of the month at 11:00 a.m. in the County Armagh Golf Club. The meetings begin with an opportunity for tea/coffee and a catch up, then a short talk on a topic of interest, followed by the business of the meeting, news of group events and associated arrangements.
The main exceptions are in January and July, in January we normally have our New Year’s lunch and in July we take a summer break.
The bridge group normally meets each Monday afternoon in the Golf Club from 2:00 to 4:30pm.
There are both experienced players and beginners.
