We are having a good response to our Christmas Quiz on Wednesday, 20th December at 10 30 am in the Golf Club.
Unfortunately, I am unable to attend for family reasons but Eleanor will take over. I hope everyone enjoys the morning.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our Armagh U3A members a very Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for 2018.

The day will begin with Registration from 10 30am

Outing to Mount Stewart House and Gardens – Friday 22nd September
Details of trip are as follows-
Cost £25 to include bus, coffee/tea and scone on arrival, guided tour of house and hot buffet lunch.* There will be time to explore the gardens of the house .
NB If you are a member of the National Trust the cost will be £18
*Choice of Beef Stroganoff OR Chicken and Bacon Casserole ,
Both served with baby potatoes or rice, salad and breads.
Coffee /tea available in the Tea Room at your own expense
Bus will leave the back of Armagh City Hotel at 9:30 am sharp ,
returning to Armagh at approximately 5:30 pm
Trip must be paid before 13th September, cheques made out to Armagh U3a and sent to

The Charles Wood Festival of Music and Summer School runs from the 20th August – 27th August at a number of venues in Armagh and for the first time also in Portadown.

This year’s John Hewitt Summer School runs from Monday, 24th July to Saturday 29th July 2017 and will be held in the Marketplace Theatre as usual.

The June General Meeting will be held a week later than usual on the 28th June and not on 21st. This is to accommodate those attending the NI Regional U3A Summer School on the 20th and 21st June. There will be no general meeting in July, but general meetings will resume in August on the third Wednesday in the month as usual.
The NI Regional U3A Summer School will be held at Greenmount College Antrim on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st June.
