Walking Group – Doan

The walk for Thursday November 8th will be Doan. After meeting at the Palace we park at the Ott/Blue Quary car park, cross the road, over a stile and up a stony track. Then up a muddy slope to another stony track overlooking Lough Shannagh. Then take a steepish track to summit of Doan. It is wet and muddy in places so definitely recommend poles and boots. Also quite an exposed walk so wrap up well!

It will be approx 3hrs and Peter and Carloine will lead us.
